Barely giving this a 3, more like 2.5. The second half of the book saved it. The beginning was so tropey, "grr, I have to have my mate, oh wait, now we have to have sex or you die".Once we met Victor it got better, and I found the story much more compelling at that point. I also had the problem with the copy-editing. With the the gross errors, just because you use Word and go through the spelling and grammar check, you might actually want to read the book.I might try other books by the author, but I have a feeling we will be lucky if we get a 3 star rating.
